How It All Began
In the 1980s, marine scientist Patrick Mulrooney began a personal quest to help manage his daughters’ sensitive skin condition—eczema. Every summer in the West of Ireland, he witnessed how his girls’ sensitive skin was soothed by the therapeutic powers of the Atlantic Ocean. He believed the ocean was an endless resource and so he set about bottling natures goodness.
Through combining nutrient-rich Irish seaweed extracts and pure botanicals, Patrick formulated the Seavite range, which fast earned cult beauty status, thanks to its profound powers of skin transformation.
Doctor-Led Skincare
Today, the multi award-winning brand of Seavite is overseen by Patrick’s daughters, Jane and Katherine, both of whom are medical doctors, with Masters’ in Clinical Dermatology.
Like their father, they bring impassioned dedication to helping people feel beautiful in their own skin. Drs Jane and Katherine have devoted their entire careers to curing sensitive skin ailments and fighting the signs of skin ageing. They are at the forefront of all advances in the treatment of cosmetic dermatology and run the renowned Dr Mulrooney Skin Care Clinic in Dublin.
